Encore Conservatory – Group Music Lessons for Adults

Encore Conservatory is a project close to my heart — a place where adults can reconnect with music, learn something new, and enjoy the process without pressure. It’s built on the idea that real growth and joy come from simply playing and exploring together, no matter your age or how long it’s been since you last picked up an instrument.

I started Encore with my friend and fellow music educator Tim Coffey, a trombonist and composer who has a real gift for creating relaxed, engaging learning environments. He’s taught countless kids over the years, and now he’s excited to bring that same energy to adults who want to rediscover their creative side.

Right now, we’re launching Encore through a few pilot group lessons for adults — small circles of friends or colleagues who already know each other and want to grow musically together. We’re handling every detail to make it work smoothly — from matching instruments and scheduling to building the right mix of comfort and challenge.

Encore isn’t just about lessons; it’s about creating a community where people can reconnect with the joy of learning and the simple magic of making music again.
