GAME DAY
Tufts University Pep Band
I direct the band. We rehearse twice a week and go all out at the football games. It is the loudest thing I do.
What I do
Performance
Drum set, percussion and timpani with orchestras, pops, chamber groups and pit bands across Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Upright and electric bass with the South County Chamber Orchestra, the Gilded Age Orchestra, musicals and bands around the state. Timpanist at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence on the major holidays.
Teaching
About twenty private students a week on drums, bass and piano, taught at their homes across Rhode Island. Drumline and percussion ensemble at Narragansett High School. Drumline instructor for the Coast Guard Academy Windjammers. And the pep band at Tufts, above.
Websites
Websites and tools for non-profits, handled end to end: design, build, hosting and upkeep. When an organization needs something it cannot buy off the shelf, I write it, from custom WordPress plugins to the tooling behind this site.

A drum method built on bass drum and snare: variations, unwritten ostinatos and progressive exercises that develop a natural sense of rhythm across styles. Written for my own students; a revised edition is in the works.
